Power has been restored at a Birmingham storm shelter after residents arrived to find it dark during Saturday's severe weather threat.
In the Pratt City Community, WVTM 13's Ayron Lewallen found a crowd gathered outside the doors of the Pratt City Park Shelter, describing the inside of the building as a "black hole."
Ensley resident Ann Jones said she came to the shelter because her neighborhood doesn't have one. She felt "let down by everyone" after arriving.
"The lights have gone out. We don't know which way to go or what to do," said Jones
WVTM 13 reached out to the City of Birmingham after finding the shelter without power. An electrician was sent out to the scene soon after.
Below is a county-by-county list of available shelters.
