Monster Hunter Wilds: How to Customize Pop-up Camp

There are a number of ways for players to personalize their characters and equipment in Monster Hunter Wilds, and unbeknownst to some, one such way includes an option to decorate Pop-up Camps.

Customizing Pop-up Camps in Monster Hunter Wilds lets players add a bit more character to their tents in the wilderness, and doing so is also tied to the Glamper trophy/achievement. If you want to edit how your tents look, or if you're looking to get all achievements in MH Wilds, here's you can do so.

In order to customize your tents, you'll need to speak to the Pop-up Camp Meowster in the Windward Plains Base Camp. Alternatively, you can also speak with the Pop-up Camp Purrofessionals near each of your deployed camps or any of the Support Desk Palicos as well.

We recommend speaking to the Pop-up Camp Meowster and Support Desk Palicos because they'll let you customize camps across all regions. If you want to change all your Pop-up Camps in Iceshard Clilffs and Ruins of Wyveria, for example, the Pop-up Camp Meowster will let you edit both without having to fast travel to different locations.

The Pop-up Camp Meowster also lets players build and dismantle camps across all the areas from one convenient location. This feature is especially handy if all your camp slots in an area are already full.

The game lets players edit their camps in a variety of ways, from changing the decals and colors of their tents to adding new furniture and camping equipment for everyone to interact with. Any alterations to a Pop-up Camp will be visible to every hunter in the lobby, though only the host's changes will be visible.

Customizing camps does not cost anything, and since tents can be edited on a per-region basis, players can create specialized looks for their camps that match the local scenery without affecting the ones in other regions.

Keep in mind that camp customization is purely visual and has no effect on whether monsters attack them or not. If a camp is placed in a spot marked as Dangerous, then it's still highly likely that it will get destroyed by a passing monster. Because of this and the fact that camp slots are limited, players are advised to build their camps in safe spots.

You can use Guild Points to instantly repair destroyed camps via the Pop-up Camp Meowster, Support Desk, or any of the Purrofessionals.
